TIMIT (Windows Timer) works like a kitchen timer. Set it to go off after a specific number of minutes, or at a specific time. When it goes off, it can display a message of your choice, run a program of your choice, or play randomly from a selection of 24 songs. If you so choose, Timit will "BEEP" when it goes off, picking randomly from the sounds you have assigned to "stop," "question," "exclamation," and "asterisk," if you use this feature of Windows 3.1 and above. If you want Timit to play a random selection of songs when it goes off, you can choose from five volume levels. Other options include a Countdown Display, and a Hide feature. It may be run as an icon, and will easily remember settings between Windows sessions.
